A highly respected and well established Legal Advisory firm is seeking a Deputy MLRO to assist in the implementation and maintenance of a compliant AML/CFT programme, and to ensure all internal operations and procedures meet the legal and regulatory requirements. 

 

Candidate requirements:

• Extensive experience within the area of Compliance, especially regarding internal AML/CFT policies, overseeing such measures & controls, monitoring all business aspects to identify weaknesses, and assisting in the analysis of the client profiles
• Expertise in AML/CFT related regulations
• Highly meticulous in their work with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, and ideally Maltese

 

Applicants must have at least 2 years previous experience at senior level within Compliance, and ideally hold a Degree in either Law, Finance or Banking. Previous approval by the MFSA to undertake an MLRO position would be an asset but is not a requirement.
