A highly respected and innovative Medical company is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to oversee internal company accounting requirements, as well as staff payroll, while supporting the team and CFO.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 2 years direct Accounting experience
  • Well versed with Accounting practices including reconciliations, debtors & creditors control, and knowledge of Payroll workings and the basic preparation of Management Accounts and VAT returns
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads 
  • Excellent attention to detail and level of organisation
  • Fluency in English, and ideally Maltese and Italian
  • Highly competent with MS Excel, and ideally Xero accounting software and Shireburn Indigo

 

Applicants would ideally have started pursuing the ACCA Foundation, and must possess an A'level in Accounts (or equivalent). A minimum of 2+ years' internal accounts/payroll experience is required for this position.
Familiarity with Xero Accounting software and Shireburn Indigo will be considered highly advantageous.
